Healthy January?

According to sandspringsleader.com, New Years resolution statistics:

"62% of people make New Years resolutions"

I wonder how many of these people's resolutions include health, diet, gym etc? Mine certainly do this year. Though I have been regularly going to the gym since the summer of 2012, it's time for me personally to take it more seriously, after a month or two of intense alcohol intake!!

For this reason, one of my resolutions was to give up alcohol for January... At least! I then discovered Dryathlon. Giving up alcohol and making it charitable! It's for cancer research, a charity I definitely care about due to family dealings with "the big C". So I signed up!

Here's my link:

If you stumble upon this post at any time before march 31st you can donate. And any spare pennies I have on my card will be donated.

Hopefully I keep up all my resolutions, including this blog, for this year because the rest of these stats are alarming!

"62% of people make New Years resolutions 8% are successful 19% achieve resolutions every other year
on average 49% have infrequent success 24% NEVER succeed and have failed on EVERY resolution EVERY year! (That’s 1 in 4 people who fail each and every time they make a resolution!)"

Woo!
